Reptiles(well, specifically snakes and lizards) have been a big obsession with me for awhile. When i don't know what else to talk about, i ramble on and on about something cute one of my snakes did or what my tegu ate that morning. My reticulated python recently gave me a little nip, and i was showing off the bite marks to pretty much anyone i talked to, lol.. Not even because it hurt bad or anything(it didn't), but because i thought it was an interesting event and the pattern of tooth marks looks neat. Animals in general are pretty much an obsession with me, but i have a particular focus on snakes and lizards. They're just so freakin' awesome!

Lately i've been pretty obsessive about finding info on AS and Autism, and playing my PSP. Issues relating to transgenderism, and LGBT issues in general, are another thing i keep dwelling on lately.
I have some recurring obsessive-ish interests that are on the milder side(some used to be more major obsessions, then calmed down after awhile) that aren't major focuses most of the time but that are still interests that i get a little overly focused on now and then... Rollercoasters and goth rock(mainly 80s) are a couple of those.

There are some obsessions i used to have that i have definitely left behind, too. When i was little i used to get insanely focused on a specific tv show or movie, and pretty much want to be and pretend to be one of the characters. Robin Hood was one of the first ones(remember the disney cartoon with the fox? i watched that over and over and even got my mom to make me a little green hat with a feather in it!). Then for awhile it was the Wizard of Oz(i introduced myself to new neighbors once as "dorothy" and called my little sister "toto"). Later on when i was about 12 or 13, Pokemon was a HUGE one. And, since it was so popular then, i was thrilled that i finally had some way to relate to other kids through talking about all the pokemon stuff that they liked too. Even they thought i was a little overboard with it, but still... lol. Left that behind... I do still play the video games though(i'm 21). Complete pokedex on diamond(which i got on the day it was released), woohooo!

(edit)Wow, it just occured to me that i can't even refrain from going on and on about my interests even when i'm just simply supposed to list them.

Math, always and forever.
Law/politics
Autism
Computers (internet/programming/forum and chat/etc)
Drawing eyes

That's all I can think of that are powerful in my mind right now. Religion used to be a big one, but is not so much anymore.

I've been thinking about trying to find ways to control my obsessions. I lose interest in things and it angers me. I currently haven't found any method that works for me, but if I hope to someday.

Birds, to the length that I am making my career. Back in my school days, I used to carry a bird book with me everywhere. Also nature in general.

Sonic the Hedgehog, I've done everything almost possible in the fandom, even dressing like a character.

I used to be really into Pokemon, now I just play it off and on.
