If you are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum, who old were both your parents when you were born?

My mom was 44 and father was 42

Both were 26. Seems like that's be within anyone's "normal" range.

My mother was twenty, and my father 22 (I think).

They both had non-autistic children (one each, not together) over ten years later. My elder sister is also not autistic, but her son is. She was in her mid-twenties as was her partner (now husband).

Dad 30, Mom 26. However, Paternal Grandfather was 42. My grandad fought in WWI...but died before I was born.

Mom 28 Dad 33 a few months after I was born

Now... I think my dad is probably aspie although he's never been diagnosed. He doesn't display the sensory defensiveness that I do, but the mindblindness and lack of social skills (though not nearly to my extent) are there (the lack of empathy is, I think, worse) and also the obsessiveness and focus on routine is worse.

His parents were

Mom 26
Dad 30

And I think HIS dad could have had AS but I never really talked to that guy all that much even though he didn't die until I was 17 and we saw each other every week.

My brother is basically the poster child for neurotypicals. So is my mom.

I'm self-diagnosed, so I wanted to disclose that fully before I chimed in.

When I was born, my mother was 37 years old and my father was 56. My father turned 57 a little over two months after my birth.

I was throughout my school years the only child in my class to have a father as a World War II veteran as opposed to an uncle or grandfather with the same status.
