I don't know, so i'm asking. I am in a web programming class and could probably make one if I wanted to. I just was wondering if there is even a need/want for one.

There's already Aspie Affection. How helpful it is I'm not sure, though you should fancy your chances more if you are female and live in a big American city.

Personally I wouldn't recommend signing up for dating services until you've obtained some self-sufficiency - at least a job, and having your own place. Don't be in any rush, mind. I'm five years older than you yet I still don't feel far enough in life to do this. Then sign up to a bunch of them, Aspie Affection included, if you're comfortable with the notion and also ready to accept that you probably won't get lucky through any.

Well, I don't see what the need for a new site is when one already exists for this niche area.

Oh go ahead and do it. Just make sure that people do not have to pay anything. Support it via advertising.

Banner ads are ok, as long as they don't take up the entire page and aren't too distracting. Also, whatever you do, don't make it like Myspace...you know, too flashy, cluttered, buggy, and hard to use. :)

I think there can be more than one site serving a community...this is called competition. Each site has to offer more to compete, and the users win (or at least that's what they taught us in Econ back in the day...;)
