Okay it was a stupid question on my part. It's just that everyone seems to view the Simpsons as real people, or at least compare them to real people. My friend has often queried me about the Simpsons ageing. :oops:

I know there was an episode where they were treated like actors who did the show, and the explanation Lisa said was that Marge kept sneaking anti ageing drugs into there cereal and other food.

They do have flashbacks and flashforwards of when they were younger/older. But it's never part of the main series. The cartoon creator just doesn't want them to grow old, because then they'd have to change what they do. (Bart couldn't always get in trouble at school if he's 18)
