In all the major cities in Europe and the USA it's a real crisis for a guy to find a place in public to pee when it becomes extremely necessary. It's criminal to do it in public. But in the same cities I see dogs peeing on every tree. How come dogs have more rights than humans?

People don't mind dog nudity.

Sand, I'm not sure if you are just being silly or if you are trying to make light of animal rights issues. You do realize that approximately 4 million dogs are put down in shelters each year?

And millions of animals are dying of starvation in Africa as well as countless deaths of dogs in Iraq...What is your point?

Animals also don't have to wear clothes in public. Does that mean they have more rights than humans?

I wasn't sure if you were some angry anti-animal rights person or just being funny. Humans are weird if you think about it. We make up laws for ourselves to make sure we don't appear to be animals. I think this is how the notion of evil began.

Public bathrooms are gross, especially the mens. I do feel for you guys. If I were a guy I would not want to use that sink and stand next to a bunch of other dicks. Why don't they have doors on those stalls? If a guy uses the stall to pee everyone must think he is weird or something because he is not joining in the pee party. I just don't understand why most bathrooms don't have doors. If you are wondering how I know this, it's because the women's rest rooms are usually full and I'll sneak into the men's if I notice that it's unoccupied. I only got caught once and I just acted dumb, like I didn't know any better. Being blonde comes in handy sometimes.

Having grown up in Brooklyn in the 1930's before air conditioning the whole family kept reasonably cool in summertime by going naked at home. Penises and vaginas were never noticed as being anything extraordinary and we kids were well acquainted that humans had one or the other and nobody gave a damn. Seeing other men's penises in public restrooms was and is no more interesting than seeing naked hands or noses and if other men find some interest in that I suppose it adds something to their lives. I'm not interested in baseball or football or stamp collecting but we each have individual tastes. I would like to be able to piss on a tree when the need pressed extraordinarily but if I would have to wear a leash and a collar to do it I might reconsider the advantage.

Women do not pee outside, and as far as I know there are no dog indoor bathrooms. Cats, too. Anyone have any ideas? Business opportunity here?

If men have bladder problems, they could wear condom catheters or incontinence products. Women use such products, adapted to them (indwelling catheters, not condom).

You feel as if it is your right to piss outside? You have a valid point. Are the facilities in Finland that bad?

The facilities in Finland are much better than New York City, but in both cities I see dogs peeing on every other tree. In New York, of course, there are fire hydrants for dogs. If it's OK for dogs everywhere, why shouldn't I have the same opportunities? Not that I want to limit dogs, merely that humans should not be denied. People are not shocked by dog penises so what's so horrible about people penises?

Men peeing up trees here in France is a not uncommon sight. It seems to be a cultural thing. Nudity in general seems to be much less of an issue here too. Sometimes there are urinals on the outside of buildings, particularly on French camp sites where people walk past and everything is visible.

Similarly with French television. One Saturday evening family viewing variety show starts with topless dancers. French TV is full of tits. There was a comedy film on a few weeks ago based at the St Tropez beach it even had topless girls aged around 13 in it. In France that was just a mainstream film, no big deal. In other parts of the world it would have been classed as child pornography. Different culture different rules.
