I checked the place out and it seemed boring.


I didn't realize the article was old. The old thread had popped up again on AFF and I didn't even look at the dates until after I posted this.

Ya I saw the an earlier thread and thought I would take a look, I had to laugh at myself, my first hour I wouldn't interact with anyone, I was looking away from other people and looking at walls or plants, much like I do in real life or RL, but people started talking to me, and I quickly stopped acting aspie, and I am having fun, even made some awesome friends. Now me and my girlfriend are having fun going to dance contest to win L$. It really puts aspies and NT's on equal footing, since its easier to communicate thought IM's. My SL name is Oswald Gothly and my girlfriend is Friskeygirl Sorbet.

I'm not in the right timezone to make it to any N.A weekly meetings, but I was a wall flower at one of thier events once.

Does that Second Life thing charge money? Or is it free?

A basic account is free.
A premium account will cost $9.95US/month and will allow you to buy and own land. There are monthly fees on the land as well depending on how much you own.
It also costs money to buy some inworld currency should you want to buy some for shopping or whatever (not really needed though, there are lots of "freebies" to grab)
Usually $1US ~ 260 Second Life dollars.

I wish wrong planet would have something in second life.
