Most aspies usually have special interests, something related to that would probably be good.

Actually, gift cards are nice. They're non-surprising, so you don't have to worry about getting something you don't like and can't control and have to keep. And they're very useful, because who knows better than you what you want? I've always liked getting gift cards. Pick a store that ties in with what they like to do.

Have to be careful... sadly, a lot of stores are going bankrupt.
I had a friend send out to our group an email with a list of stores to not buy gift cards for this year.
