I have finished watching Serial Experiments Lain on Youtube. I first heard of the anime on the defunct TechTv block "Anime Unleashed". But I stopped watching because of they kept shoving commercials every 5 minutes, Ditech and all.

Now I have finally watched it all the episodes.

ITT: Serial Experiments Lain, and anyone who hated Anime Unleashed's treatment of anime during the TechTV era.

I once watched the series in reverse order. Made more sense that way.

There's always a tendency for anime episodes to be shown in random order, so stories become hard to follow. And not even reruns. They'll show for a while, and then suddenly god nuts. I don't recall exactly how bad Anime Unleashed was in this respect, mostly because I couldn't bear to watch it for all the commercials and confusion it caused. And Lain is already a confusing series if you don't watch all of it. It's pretty awesome, though.
