I have been driving since my "incident" without issue and for that I am glad as it does my confidence good. My next step is to buy a car but with the price of petrol, insurance, maintenance, RACV etc it might be beyond my reach given my low income.

As has been stated having a few minor crashes or bingles is no big deal but ones where people are hurt or killed are as was the case only today with a girl killing all the passengers in her car. Today my step dad who has been driving for 40 yrs crashed into a lamp post whilst reversing that doesnt make him a bad driver though.
