Hm..got very unsure so had to check, and
this is the type of papers that are the bottom
of a box thats on the bottom of something else

But i`m a little unsure, as i understand it theres
the ABO-system and the RH-system, according
to a bracelet-thingy i have from i was in a hospital
i have Rh negative. I thought it was something else
but thats what is says..have to find some birth papers
or something to double check this i think..

Anyway, Rh- until i find something telling me otherwise.

I never knew mine and I have no idea how to find out.

Just donate blood in your country of residence.
As part of the preparations for your first one, the
nurses there type your blood (ABO, Rh-positive or negative).

That's how I found out my blood type was A negative.

I've heard that people in Japan (for example) still ask about
blood type as a means of divination about other people's
personalities. Apparently, this has something to do with the
Japanese equivalent to ancient Greek theory about the four
temperaments (choleric, melancholic, sanguine, phlegmatic).
It resembles the way we ask people what month of the
astrological year they were born in, saying "What's your sign?"

I'm an O+ too, which brings up something VERY improbable with my siblings, but it happened nevertheless.

Usually, the father's blood type is the dominant one, when he has children. But despite my dad being B+ and my mom O+...ALL FIVE of her offspring (myself included) were born with O+ blood! Freaky, huh?

In the bloodstream, baby! topic

My father's blood type was B-, and mine is O+. My mother's was O+.

My younger sister's is AB+. I am not sure about my brother's, or even my children's. 8O

It is important to know for donor and recipient reasons. I should find out about my kids.

You can get tested at Canadian Blood Services ebec, they do a finger poke and the test takes about 5 mins.

That just a typo O pos / neg just shows which rhesus monkey antibobodies your blood has, you can't be both pos and neg.

well, I'm a universal syrum donor, AB+. The Red Cross is always calling wanting me to donate

(the blood syrum is where the reactive antibodies are. AB+ doesn't have any reactive antibodies in the syrum to the major components of blood type, though there are about a dozen more typing systems that are used for things that require more specific matches, such as organ transplants. It is always best if you can recieve your own blood, so, many doctors will recommend self-donation if you are going for big surgery)
