I can't see why anyone could get sick of bugs (used as a colloquial term).

I think that bugs are better than people because if they don't like you they just bite you. They don't lie about it- and you don't have to talk to them and never have to see them again when you get bored with them- unlike people who tend to stick around regardless. If you can't get to sleep than you can just watch the spider/moth on your ceiling.
