This is just an FYI for all of you Australian folks out there. I realize that you all know the rules of the game. Here in America, Howie Mandel will be the host and one of the models was a model on our version of "The Price is Right" for 3 years. It sounds like a great game. I hope I enjoy it.

It's kinda like an overtly complicated game of Pick-A-Box/Monte-Hall, except with 26 briefcases. I don't really watch it as there's no real skill involved but its a passable game show.

I spoke to someone, and they said that's the way game shows should be. However, some people prefer "Wheel Of Fortune," "Jeopardy!," or "Millionaire." The only type of game show I can't stand is a reality game show. So, I'm willing to give this show a chance.

Everybody: Ho-wie! Ho-wie! Ho-wie!

It won't be bad. NBC will give it five nights, and if it does well, they will tape another series. I hope it does!

I love Jeopardy but it's too American for me to get alot of the questions correct (ie Who was the governor of Vermont during the McCarthy era?), just as an American probably wouldn't know who the governor of New South Wales was during the Whitlam era. I wish that would do another Aussie version of that.

Deal or No Deal though cleans up in the ratings, it's on at 5:30 pm here and pretty much ensures channel seven wins the news from 6:00-7:00pm. I think Channel 9 are redoing Family Feud next year to compete with it.

Yes, Alex Trebek is a smart man.

Andrew O'Keeffe is beating Larry Emdur in the ratings! Now that I see it, I believe it, but I think "The Price is Right" here will be more popular than "Deal or no Deal."

Yes, I know Channel 9 is reviving "Family Feud." Bert Newton will be the host.

I live in New York. I read about Australian game shows online, and I have also seen clips of the Aussie "Price is Right" with Larry Emdur online as well.

I don't like Andrew O'Keefe, I had to interview him once for a JO'K magazine article and he was a bit obnoxious.

Just a tad.
