Im about 6ft1in and 140lbs... tall and skinny, god I wish I could put on some weight... Cant even put on muscle from working out regularly... I tried, trust me. Most I ever weighed was 153 and that was mostly water weight from being on a pure ramen diet.

5'8" and 200 pounds, I used to weigh over 240 pounds and I am still dieting but I'm working on losing more weight. I used to be a really skinny kid though, you might have something altough I doubt it.

I collected all the data so far.

These are the averages:
Weight: 166.7 lbs
Height: 69.1 inches, or 5'9"
BMI: 24.4

19% of posters qualify as underweight. 36% have a normal weight. 28% are overweight. 17% qualify as obese.
[Note: All percentages are based on BMI, which may be inaccurate for those who qualify as obese because the BMI does not account for muscle mass. Some individuals with a high BMI may be accounted for antipsychotic usage, which is known to increase weight.]

The average height of the general male, American population is 5'9", and the average height of the general female, American population is 5'4". The average height of WP posters falls within the average male height. (source)
Men are more likely to have/express ASD traits than women, so that would explain why the average height is closer to the general male population.
I did not take data from posters who did not provide weight, as I wanted to find the BMI of WP posters.

The data can be found here.

If I made any mistakes, tell me so I can fix them.

As far as certain body types being related to AS, I've seen a shred of evidence that those with tall thin body types statistically might have a somewhat higher chance of having AS, but this in no way implies that all people with AS must be tall. I'm not sure comprehensive studies have been done to refine the link.

I am 6' 4" about 225 pounds (used to weigh 180 in college), just for the record. I was skinny most of might life until the middle age spread hit me a few years ago.

Diagnosed as autistic as a child and upgraded to Asperger's later, I am 5'4" and about 200 lbs.

So I guess I don't fit the AS mold either.

At age 15, I am 5'6" or so and only weigh about 112 lbs. Makes me average height, but underweight for my age I think. However, I don't expect to grow any more while others my age might have a few inches left.

I am 6'1", yet as I have looked at the other responses that height and weight have no connection, yet it would be interesting to research.

Excess testosterone?

Most of the males I've seen in person with an ASD have been around my height; could be a coincidence.

Perhaps you associate more with people that you see eye-to-eye with.

I doubt you're done growing. I've grown an inch since I was 19.

6'0'' and 155 pounds. However, I took steroids for asthma in my early teens, which appear to have stunted my growth. I was 5' 1'' when I turned 10, and only grew 11 inches in the following ten years. My younger sister took the same medication and it delayed the onset of puberty until she discontinued the meds in her mid teens (at which time, she immediately began developing at a rapid pace). My point being this: I am slightly on the tall/lanky side, but am probably genetically pre-disposed to being several inches taller.

Female

5'9.5

130lbs

That would be under the ideal weight for a medium sized frame, but I'm pretty sure I have a small frame. My wrists are quite small, almost like a child's.

I'm 5'1" and about 100 pounds. Most of my family is taller and much heavier. I have a really tiny build, I haven't grown much since 5th grade. It seems bizarre that I hit my adult weight and height at 11, but I also went through puberty early.

I am an exception to the rule. I'm 5'1" and 140 pounds. I need to lose at least ten pounds. Fifteen or twenty would be even better but, at 44 years of age, I know that will be difficult.

Both of my parents are 5'8" with thin athletic builds.

I'm 5'3" and 88 lbs. and somewhat athletic-looking. But I just look more thin than anything. Most of my height (like my mom) is in my legs, so I'm totally fine with that.
