Just curious, what was everybody else doing on the even of the big Y2K? Where did you celebrate it, did you celebrate it, was it fun, etc.

I was 14 at the time, my only friend or two were out with their other friends, my brother was with his friends, and so were my parents, i spent the night sitting at home alone with my dog. If the world would have ended that day, i would have died one of the loneliest people in the world. Every new year since then has felt kinda pointless, i wasted a millennium, whats another sh***y year here or there.

Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice

well, I was 3 so, I was doing absolutely nothing.

"Celebrating" with my family, with not an iota of anything but amusement at the people thinking that something big would happen.

Of course the world won't end! My life isn't that interesting...

I think my world has already ended.

My friend lied and said she was sick. Turns out she's with other friends, "she just got well" and thought I wouldn't be able to make it.

So now I sit waiting and waiting but nothing......

Big ol' 2000? I voted "alone or with pets", because even though my family was home, I believe they were all sleeping. Same as right now, in fact. It's really just another day. Same as always.

It was a day after my 10th birthday (yes, my birthday is December 30. It tends to not be remembered by family members and I don't like telling people when it is unless it's necessary to the conversation) and I was at a friends' house across the street to see the ball drop on a big screen TV. then it was back home and straight to bed (as we were back at school on either January 2 or - if that wasn't a Saturday or Sunday, that Monday).

ARMAGEDON! *joke*

Anyway, I'm just going to play games and go to bed. I have nothing to celebrate.

Gad...still in my last apartment. Watching the tube, while someone stole the stereo out of my car (one more reason I finally moved out)

I actually have a false memory there...logically I was alone at home, my mom told me, but for some reason I remember going out, being stuck in a crowd as the big ball came down *rolls eyes* I probably watched it

Ok UPDATE!

I fell asleep with my pets next to my side when it happened. So I and my pets were rescued by extraterristrial aliens who cryogenically froze us.

And here I am...on the Wrong Planet.

I'll never see the light of day as long as I'll shall live.....
