I have stories about this that I don't feel like typing out, well, I guess I can give the gist of one. I was in a pharmacy with my best friend who is 2 years younger than me, we were visiting her friend. A woman came up who I think was younger than me at the time (a pharmacist) and offered my best friend a coloring book for me because she thought she was my babysitter. Me: 22 yrs at the time.

My mom says I look like someone my brother's age (14).

People always ask, "How old are you?" and then seem mildly surprised when I tell them I'm 18. The kids in my neighborhood all thought I was around their age (12) and were shocked when I told them my real age.

I talk young and dress young, and i am short and don't have any wrinkles, but this does not stop some people from calling me Maam or getting referred to as a "Woman"..I am more comfortable with "Girl"

Back when I had my mustache, people thought I looked old for my age but now that it's gone, some say I look younger.

People also say that my voice makes me sound older, like I'm in my 30's.

Sometimes, every time I look in the mirror I see a different person; sometimes I look 21, sometimes 16, when my hair's greasy I look much older, but I also look like a tramp. Handy for buying cigarettes though, (I'm actually legal and have ID, but I hate being asked, it's the worst) heheh

I just turned 26 and I still look like a teenager. I'm Asian and I've noticed that we tend to look younger than our Western counterparts. I dont know why. I met an Indonesian once and I thought he's in his late 30s/early 40s, but he was 50!

poopylungstuffing: yeah, i'm more comfortable with 'girl' too.

Yes apparently I've asked co-workers who have said they though i was between 19 and 21 years old and a delivery person once said I must be to young to be smoking, that I looked only sixteen. I attribute the mistaking of my age to my acne though as in other situations eg. at bars, clube, restaruants I don't get carded for liquor nor does the liquor store ID me.

Yes. Just last year a woman in the neighbourhood asked me if I was in junior high or high school now, and just a few weeks ago the seller in the local kiosk, who has known me for some years, was surprised when I asked for an adult subway ticket. (Adult in this instance meaning at least 16.) I am always assumed to be 16-20.

Yeah, I get mistaken for being younger quite often. I can't even grow a beard, and only have to shave like once a week. My facial hair only comes in under my chin. BARELY any hair on my torso.

I'm 9 days from being 20.

I really don't mind the very slow incoming of facial and body hair though. Hair is disgusting to me.

No, people always think I'm older than I really am.
When I was 14 I had my neighbours friend think I was 21.
When I was 15 and went to visit a university someone asked me if I had any children.

I used to always look several years younger than I really was. Nowadays however, it varies. Some people think I look younger, and some don't. I even get the occasional person who thinks I look older! (which is a first)

when I was younger I probably DID look younger than I actually was

these days because of a lot of stress and other things I look more my age (ish)

I feel 21 though but that's beside the point
