Eternally Forbidden
Spring’s shades of violet and green promise a new beginning
New paths open for me
Leaving the old ways behind
Would you give your heart to me
As the dark clouds fade away?
The fires of summer warm up spirits
Despite its bitter heat in daylight and cold in moonlight
Revelations and affections in the clear gentle blue water
I became the Water Goddess
Who found someone at last
You confessed to me….
The touch did not lie
A marble sensation I would never forget
Then you departed, however
Nothing could hurt take the joy away from me
Autumn transforms the heat into a cold breeze
The force that would take you away from me
Leaving me sleepless in darkness
Losing consciousness but you were not there when I came to
Once the rain in winter came
Most if not all was better
I’m still missing you
Fate would have its unchanging way
Running through the rainstorm
Rinsing the poison of sad memories from my mind
Never slowing down
Barely catching my breath
Almost losing my way
My hopes of your return drowned by each drop of rain in this cruel twist of fate

Hey that was a nice way of relating or turning the seasons into the time that passed, the events and things that were felt. Did this happen over about a year, or? And remember the seasons work in cycles, and time has change. So you never know, spring may comeback with something new and as beautiful as your poem.

I suppose "As I look towards the sky" would be most pertinent to this forum post.
