My lifes goal (that probably sounded more dramatic than it should) is to play every console. From the first one ever (Magnavox) To the present tense (360, PS3 the like.) think i can do it?

Try E-Bay :D.

You might want to subscribe to a gamer's magazine to get the "latest" and also get a good job, those things can get pricey, or just get a friend who already has them.

Sounds like that could get very pricey. 8O

What consoles have you already played? Also, how long would you have to play the console before you consider that you played it (obviously playing for only 1 minute wouldn't be worth saying you've played).

It's impossible to play a console. You just interact using a "console." An input device to interact with the instructions present on screen. A PC and MAC are mainly console based... After all, more input, with keyboard and mouse. I see a GX4000 missing from that list. Best off to just get an emulator for all or MESS

it is actually very possible,as long as dont mean to own every console as well which will be hard.
look out for retro/games console museums/expos/whatever theyre called,as they do them in the uk where people can have a go with all the consoles.
am assuming are in the uk as have used megadrive instead of genesis, trying to remember the expo that toured all over the country,am wouldnt go near that sort of stuff, but remember that gamers contributed their consoles to it.

Well what about all the realy cheap consoles, like the ones that are a rip off of wii, or any of those ones that conect to the tv with a very little game choice. Plus there may be some that whent unreleased, and or sold shortly and may have been stopped or even called back.

Didn't mean to crush your dream, I hope that some have not dissapeared from hisory, I would love to try out the vurtua boy though, it came of interest to me when I did a school report on Nintendo, I did a bit of studying into history of game consoles then.

My job is to find them all, find the best game, and play for a full 5 supervised (By owner or a friend) hours. Im assumin most will be in Japan, (they're nutters when it comes to games :]) but they may be spread all over the world.
