What do you do to cope with problems faced because of AS? Specifically, what do you do during moments in which you feel hurt or lonely but know that know that the feeling is only temporary but aren't sure what to do until the feeling passes.

Depends. Sometimes I work on stuff. I make art of various kinds, I read a book or I write things. Other times it really just helps to listen to the saddest song I can find and get it out of my system till I'm worn out and ready for something better.

Doing stuff related to my obsessions can help me, if I'm stressted or in a panic from something caused by AS obsessions can calm me down.

I will sometimes vent, but always start right away with finding a solution.

I can only come to a rest if I found a solution.

I try to focus on something else - something I like - until I'm relaxed or detached enough to reevaluate the situation. Obsessing or beating yourself up over things will only cause more harm.

. Meditate
. Listen to angry music
. If really pissed off, punch inanimate objects and throw stuff around, coupled with listening to angry music.
. If really pissed off, and have strong will power, I'll meditate.

A hot steaming shower can fix any problem... I often vent my frustration to a relative. I find the best coping method is intense physical activity. Go to the gym and give those weights/bike/treadmill all you've got to the point that you want to collapse by the time you are done.
