Still 6 weeks off for us in Calgary, but we do get mild winters here, and chinook winds that can raise the temp 20c in an hour.

We just had the fifth warmest January on record here -- highs in the seventies and eighties.

This weekend it's supposed to rain and get cold (for us). Highs should be in the fifties Monday and Tuesday.

it is 105 F here and i can not leave the air conditioning for more than a few minutes.
it is very high fire danger
