I don't think there's anyhing embarassing about listening to Michael Jackson, he's probably the greatest solo artist ever.

agreed. "Off the Wall" is the sh**.

...now "Invincible" on the other hand...

no seriously, you can defend "Invincible"...if you cut four songs off it in iTunes.

Speechless and Whatever Happens :P

if you cut 2000 Watts, Privacy, Cry, and Threatened, the album's way better.

lol, yeah probably. When's his new album coming out? If ever.

Michael Jackson made good music when he was black.

Beat It is actually a pretty sound tune regardless. Probably one of my favourite MJ songs.

Prince is far more suggestible, but I wouldn't be embarrassed about that either.

The big joke is that Prince is actually the more innocent-looking of the two now compared to 25 years ago.

George Michel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qz0tI1hpTaE 8)

Faith http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mmd83LIADnE My boyfriend used to sing this - Not every one has a body like you, me :) Then he kept singing "Not every one has a body like him" :? He was an NT nerd. He wanted to start up his own band, as lead singer and he couldn't even sing.

I don't own any George Michel  I was just just thinking of my x.

The most embarassing album I've ever owned was some dance compilation from 1997. It had that "What Is Love ?" single by Hadaway they played on Saturday Night Live and that horrible "I like to move it, move it" by who the hell knows who. I've been pretty good steering clear of s**ty music since then.

Looking at this list it becomes clear to me that what's considered "embarassing" is totally a matter of opinion. Some of the things people have listed here I really don't think many people would consider that embarassing.

Except for Nickelback, that's undisputed.

Does owning something by Josh Groban make you an official "Grobanite" groopie?

Pretty embarrassing.

Coldplay is weird. You can defend their music, but you pretty much can't defend anything else about them.

I'm sorry, but willingly marrying Gwenyth Paltrow can not be overlooked.

Thought of a few more

Milli Vanilli (with a name like that, surly a winner)
Yoko Ono
Richard Simmons, if you sing along to Richards album "Reach" then you probably also listen to,
The Village People
Hanson (dangit, MMM Bop" in my head)

why is it embarrasing to own a hanson album?

I listen to quite a lot of really embarrassing music. The iCarly soundtrack is pretty embarrassing

but I think the worst would be Nikki Webster's 1st CD, Follow Your Heart  I question my sanity. Do I have the mind of a 5year-old girl or am I a pedophile  I have Nikki's other 2 CDs, her Best Of & I'm waiting for her 4th one to come out

I've considered some Richard Marx stuff to be a guilty pleasure, but Hazard is just a great song.

I have the Breathe album from 88? with Hands To Heaven and How Can I Fall. A couple of guilty pleasures right there. My brother made fun of me for that one.
