I remember in grade 7, this EA (who I didn't really like, but didn't dislike either, which is rare for me) told me that I was a good writer. That was a tough year for me, and I didn't think I was good at anything, so that comment stuck in my head.

An eighth grade biology teacher who shared my enthusiasm for dinosaurs gave me a really awesome book on The Tyrannosaurus Rex species. It was a book beyond most of my peers and showed his appreciation for my knowledge. I should write him and several others to thank them.

One of the others, my 3rd grade teacher knew there was something odd about me, and had me tested both for gifted and talented, and for ADD. I failed both but succeeded in confusing the hell out of her.
