Well yeah, I stumbled upon this site after doing some research on Asperger Syndrome...

I not too fond of sharing my details right away, but here are some I don't mind sharing:

Age: 21
Gender: Male
Location: Netherlands/Holland, europe

I joined here since I got a diagnose of the Asperger Syndrome about six weeks ago... To be honest, it was quite a shock to me, but at the same time a LOT of things where explained to me , so yeah...

I suppose you can welcome me now...? :)

well, hi there. I have been to holland many many times. Mainly a tiny place called Schagen. Anyway, I was diagnosed about a month ago and It was not much of a shock but moreover lead to a depression.

I digress, it's about you...

welcome these forums.

I hope you start to feel comfortable learning more about yourself.

And I miss Holland.

mostly the rollmops and strapwaffles, (probably drastically misspelled)

even with my lack of expressing my emotions, I feel with you. Currently I simply ''feel'' I'm on my way to a big depression, and suicidal habits aren't that odd for me in those times... But I try to stay positive, and maybe get a little ''moral support'' from here...?

Im mnot here to get ''attention'', but lets help each other while we're here, no? :)

unfortunately, it is especially hard to deal with emotions, especially for people who fall on the autistic spectrum. Depression seems to be common. I have struggled with it for a while, even without knowing what Asperger's was to begin with, I always had some kind of depression. It seems to come and go though. Some times are better than others. Today was great. I doubt anyone will think that you are attention seeking by introducing yourself here. my first post here was really depressing. I got allot of positive support. Also, I have not yet told many people about my diagnosis. All things come in good time.

I'm here to get "attention." Not in a bad way, but sometimes things are rough and I want a little sympathy.
