This movie really was annoying. I watched the whole thing because I was expecting something to happen. If someone knows something about this movie that I didn't get please clue me in.
It's not art to me. I don't understand why it received so much praise for it's artistic quality.

"Gerry"
The dumbest movie ever made:

Any movie featured on Mystery Science Theater 3000. But among them, 'Hobgoblins' and 'Manos: The Hands of Fate' are tied as the worst I've ever seen.

not the worst movie, but all my friends were telling me that american history x was an amazing movie, so i watched it, and I thought it was real stupid, because, the whole movie the guy is showing his brother how racism is bad and black people arent bad and then end of the movie a black person kills him??? whats the point of that? that defeats the whole purpose of the movie, it doesnt make any sense! and EVERYONE i know said it was a good movie....

Battlefield Earth (the movie) was soooo disappointing, I wanted to retch! I sat through the first 5 minutes of it and walked out of the theater, then I tried to make myself watch it when it came out on video. I skipped through it, and at NO POINT in the movie could I watch more than a minute without getting nauseous. Battlefield Earth is a FANTASTIC book, someone should shoot John Travolta for murdering that movie!

Another fabulous book that was turned into a bad movie was "Starship Troopers" by Heinlein. The book is great, but the movie has nearly nothing to do with it. A few dialogues, some character names, that's about all the movie has in common with the book.

1. The Grey Zone. israeli/american co production about ww2. awfully made summarize of the entire war. everything sucks about this movie, but more than anything, the editing and layout sucks. the movie as a whole is a bucket of vomit.
immediately after starting to watch, its awfullness hits me and my uncle, he goes "these are gonna be the longest 90 minutes of our lives." 10 minutes later, the scene, for some reason, remained static, and i went "we're watching a photo!"

2. Battlefield Earth. i thought it was gonna be fun to watch "worst movie ever made", but it wasnt fun. i was wrong. watching the "worst movie ever made" is painful and agonizing. the slow-mo pompous-music climax towards the end was the worst piece of crap climax-scene ive ever seen in my life. thats what he (travolta baby, travolta!) gets for blatantly trying to promote religion in a movie AND being an ass about it "its totally gonna beat star wars, huh huh".

3. Air force one, and all crappy half-assed action movies similar to it. "get out of my plaaane!"
