Picture of 100ft-long 'snake' sparks fears mythical monster in Borneo

I use Photoshop everyday in my professional career and both photos looks real. The focal blurring between forest, river, town, and snake is consistent. The angles and distances are correct.

Doesn't look fake to me as well but can't say for sure, thing is, we'd need an higher resolution image, this kind of stuff always comes up but where are the original pictures?

it's a reptile, which means it's cold-blooded. As long as you find it after a big meal, or on a cold day, you can admire it from a distance..;) Takes a lot of calories to get something that big moving...;)

Oh no! We're all doomed - it's the Midgard Serpent! Ragnarok is nigh!

(either that or it was photoshopped).

The Daily Mail does not have in the UK the reputation of being the most serious newspaper ... I would start in this case with a very healthy amount of scepticism.

The more believable picture is taken from somewhat high altitude: That green fuzz on the banks is made of trees. So, the snake would have to be wider than several tree trunks. So I'm not buying it, but it would be cool if it existed. (Well, maybe not to those who live nearby, but still cool that something like it could exist at all in modern times.)

Aren't any of the guys gonna say it? Fine.

I don't see what the big deal is. My wife sees that every night.
