Alrighty, here's the deal. I'm going through a vinyl obessesion these days and I wanted to have hard copies of some of my favourite artists. I've been trying this one site called insound.com for all my indie band needs however a lot of the music is either too expensive, or takes too long to ship (a month and a half for 4 records...booooo!)

So I was wondering if anybody around here shops for vinyl and could offer my a could site. restrictions are that I can only order from north america, preferably canada, close to ontario.

Here's some of the artists I'm looking for and their albums:

OK. Here's my advice.

How far are you from Toronto? If making the trip would be a major undertaking, I would recommend you pick a time period in the year somewhere to make this trip. I could almost bet money that you'd find exactly what you're looking for on Yonge Street in Toronto (the alt-shopping district). I've been to a lot of places, but never to a place where the specialty shops seemed to stretch on for miles. Visit some vinyl shops in Toronto and you're bound to complete your entire collection in one trip.

I should have mentioned that I am going on a school trip to chicago at the end of may, and I heard there was a virgin mega store there. Do you think they would be able to help me complete my collection as well? or are they a CD only place.
