What are your favorite Nintendo Wi-Fi games?

Can anyone recommend any good DS or Wii games that have decent online play?
please try not to list any of the obvious (ex. Mario kart, Pokemon, animal crossing)
I don't have very many Wi-Fi games because i JUST figured out how to get connected.

Try to surprise me and anyone else that reads this post.

I tried playing Mario Kart and Metroid Hunters online, but there'd always be that ONE GUY who liked to cheat and ruin it for everybody, and I just got tired of it and went back to playing against the computer (or my friends) ¬_¬

I would like to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wi-Fi too, but almost always the game is laggy.

the ds is rubbish for online play

Mario Strikers Charged is the single most underrated game of all time. I know someone who runs a site for it and it's a great game overall. Only problem is, there is a recently discovered glitch in the game that practically ruins all competition if used, but if you can find players who don't use it on a website (or even on ranked play if you're fortunate), it's a very deep game that beats every wifi game out there right now, both in terms of gameplay and online capabilities.

Call of Duty 5 is also the best shooter on the Wii right now, and is extremely fun, although it's nowhere near the quality of any good FPS due to the lag, weapon imbalance, and uncanny ability to support nooby styles of play. Still, it's a must have for any Wii owner, like Strikers.

Those two should be at the top of your list if you're considering buying a Wii game.

I would say Brawl... and oddly enough -- metal of honor heroes 2 isn't so bad.

The problem though is the fact that you can't talk to your friends with the Wii, so smack-talking is a pain. That, and the whole friend-code thing does not help at all. The numbers are too long and irritates me.

Mario Kart! I used to powerslide with the best of 'em.

In my opinion, Metroid Prime Hunters was awful for online play =/ (and I was so excited for it too!)

Edit Edit: I'll have to agree though, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 was a ton of fun on the Wii.
