:?: HOW CAN THEY START TRENDS FOR EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE WORLD ONE COMES IN AND OUT FOR EXAMPLE HEARD OF SOULJA BOY CRANK THAT?

Something just 'clicks' with a lot of people, and its' 'hip'...then 5 minutes later it's not...

i really dont know, quite a few of these trends extend to a few of my freinds, and they hate rap music for example "crank dat soulja boy" (i also hate the genre) but i dont undertand why anyone likes rythmical talking, it's a pile of talentless losers, who get paid to look "gangsta" and shoot people, why should anyone be paid to promote that to the youth of the world. if rap music want created in the 80's most of our planet would accually be nice.

I've never followed trends, but I think I can understand how they happen. The classic herd mentality, All those people think it's cool, I gotta do it so they'll think I'm cool. It's the whole bandwagon thing.

also, I can even understand modern rap and gangsta rap, but only a little. It's just a different kind of way to fantasize about having money, respect, and all the women you could dream of.
Oh and not all rappers are "talentless." You try rapping and tell me how it sounds. I think you'll know the difference if you are "talentless."

the main reason i despise gangster rap is because it promotes materialism. don't know if this is a common aspie thing, and feel free to disagree, but i really really do not like materialism and will sure as hell never be infected with it.

Let's all bring back the old punk/sk8er/metal/rocker styles that used to be mainstream. I'm trying myself but the gangsters don't think I'm cool.
They were way less materialistic, sexual, violent and had better music.
