Come on
Come on
You think you'll drive me crazy
Well
Come on
Come on!
You and your army
You and your cronies
Come on
Come on
Holy Roman Empire
Come on if you think
Come on if you think
You can take on all
You can take on all of us
You and your armies
You and your cronies

You forget so easy
You act surprised
You act surprised
O Tarzan!
O Tarzan!
You act surprised!
You act surprised!
O Tarzan!
All forsaken
All forsaken.

I want you to know
There's no coming back

Look into my eyes
I'm not coming back

So now don't catch the milk
Don't look down
Churn it in your mouth

If you have any doubt
They'll only drown you bad

Look into my eyes
It's the only way you'll ever tell the truth

So now don't cook him up
Such is hell
Put him in the pot

I want you to know
It's not coming back

Just put it frozen
Still there's no point in letting it go to waste

So now don't catch the mumps
Such is hell
Put him in your pot

NeantHumain is either on his way to the loony bin, or making a practical joke. Based on his history here, which one do you think it is? We report, you decide!

It can be a thin line between art and mental illness. I vaguely remember some of the poems I was writing before, during and after my stay in a psychiatric ward. As long as I kept writing, I never gave up hope.

Stay with us, Neant Humain. I've got your back.

Those are Radiohead lyrics ("You and Whose Army" and "Knives Out" from their album Amnesiac). I had a pretty awful day yesterday.

Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence
One step from lashing out at you...
You want in to get under my skin
And call yourself a friend
I've got more friends like you
What do I do?

Is there no standard anymore?
What it takes, who I am, where I've been
Belong
You can't be something you're not
Be yourself, by yourself
Stay away from me
A lesson learned in life
Known from the dawn of time

Re....spect, walk
are you talking to me?

Run your mouth when I'm not around
It's easy to achieve
You cry to weak friends that sympathize
Can you hear the violins playing you song?
Those same friends tell me your every word

Is there no standard anymore?
What it takes, who I am, where I've been
Belong
You can't be something you're not
Be yourself, by yourself
Stay away from me
A lesson learned in life
Known from the dawn of time

Re....spect, walk
are you talking to me?

Are you talking to me?
No way punk

Re....spect, walk
are you talking to me?
Are you talking to me?

Walk on home boy

Argh! I do love this song but you're hearing it wrong. :D

It's not "You act surprised" it's; "We ride tonight"
and it's not "O Tarzan" or "All Forsaken" it's "Ghost Horses"

Hehe this one is mostly wrong too.

Don't worry, I mishear Radiohead lyrics all the time due to the way Thom Yorke sings. Once I found out the lyrics to a certain song I forget now, I decided I liked my version better and ignored the 'truth'. :)

The song "You And Whose Army" can only really be appreciated by a Radiohead fan imo. A casual listener is likely to discard it as cack.

Anyway, when you're listening to the album, and this song comes on, and in you're in "the zone," I can totally appreciate someone being motivated to post the lyrics. It's just that kind of song.
