Welcome to WP! My son has HFA and I have come to realize that my husband probably has aspergers too. You are definately not alone here.

Wow. That is going to take all your problem-solving skills. Some people go to Aspires to talk specifically about spouse relationships between NT and Aspie. I hope you'll check out the parent forum here.

Hi sammykin welcome, often the anger and frustration is lack of understanding on both sides, hopefully I can help give you a little more insight...

hi sammykin

I HAVE 3 SONS ALL ON THE SPECTRUM AND A HUSBAND TOO HE WAS DIAGNOSED APPROXIMATELY 18 MONTHS AGO.
I CAN FULLY UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS YOU ARE HAVING.
I FOUND THING A LITTLE EASIER WHEN WE FOUND OUT. IT EXPLAINED ALOT.
IT IS DIFFICULT . I KNOW. WHEN THINGS HAPPEN BETWEEN MY KIDS AND HUBBY. I FIND MYSELF GETTING STRESSED OUT MORE WITH MY HUSBAND. I DONT MEAN TOO. ITS JUST THE HELP I NEED HE CANT ALWAYS GIVE.
SO I HAVE TO STEP BACK AND ASSESS THE SITUATION AND DEAL WITH IT APPROPRIATELY.
MOST OF THE TIME I DEAL WITH HIM THE SAME WAY I DO THE CHILDREN.
IM NOT SAYING THAT ALL ADULTS WITH AS. SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THAT. BUT I HAVE TOO WITH MY HUSBAND.
BUT THIS MEANS I HAVE TO DEAL WITH PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING. ON MY OWN.
IF MY HUSBAND DEALS WITH A SITUATION HE TENDS TO GET UPSET/ANGRY TOO. SO THE SITUATION ESCULATES.
I HAVE JOINED THIS SITE TO TALK TO PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF AND TO TALK TO OTHER AUTISTIC/AS ADULTS.
I DO WONDER SOMETIMES WHETHER I LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THINGS. AND FEEL TALKING TO ANOTHER I CAN FIND OUT IN SOME SITUATIONS. WHETHER IT IS APART HIS AS PERSONALITY OR WHETHER IT IS HIS PERSONALITY AS A PERSON.

AS ASPLANET SAID often the anger and frustration is lack of understanding on both sides,
