I'm watching now... I think Jon is being a bit harsh to Cramer if you ask me (this coming from a long-time fan of The Daily Show...)

i imagine Stewart might go easy on him - otherwise he would not come on the show. on the other hand, after that Lehman Brothers Friday blooper, Cramer might try anything just to get his ratings up. any rumors that they might cut Cramer's show, what to do you think?

Watch it online. I'll give you a hint: Steward > Cramer

Stewart was brutal. Really went after humiliating Cramer.

I think that it was kind of unreasonable. There were things that he pushed Cramer on, that someone who isn't clueless about investing should know better about. But someone unfamiliar with investing wouldn't know that they were goofy questions.

I sympathize with Cramer because like him, I am slowly going bold.. being made fun of by a head full Stewart's hair is more than i can bear (rhymed?)

Not knowing the full context of the clips or Cramer's career in investment, Jon Stewart seemed pretty damaging. I may just be mistaken or ignorant of the background, but it seemed that he exposed Cramer as a man who hid his insider knowledge behind a veil of unserious pop culture crassness.

Would this be a misimpression?

OK, I'm feeling like a real idiot right now.

Who's Steward and Cramer?

Both The Daily Show [w/ Jon Stewart] & CNBC's Mad Money [with Cramer] are limited to US politics & stock finances, so it's only natural for you to not know about either. The Daily Show grinds up a day's worth of news into a 21-minute comedy show, & Mad Money is some guy giving stock advice with weird buttons & sounds. Punching both into youtube should give you adequate clips of both...
