Parties would be like a nightmare to me. I stay away from them (except for family ones of course).

Depends on what's going on. I prefer to sit around and eat pizza, drink beer, and go ham, etc....
some parties are just stupid and you know, juvenile.

HEY LET'S DRINK TILL WE F*CK UP SOMEHOW! 3 HOURS OF OBNOXIOUSNESS THAT WE MAY PAY FOR WITH THE NEXT DAY OR THE REST OF OUR LIVES!

I still love crazy punk shows though. Those are always worth making it a point to go to.

I loathe parties. I probably haven't been to a party since elementary school. They are pointless to me. Being around loud, noisy, immature people who are listening to intolerably loud music and engaging in immature behavior? That's about one of the worst scenarios I can imagine. Nobody invites me to parties, probably because they all can tell that I'm the type of person who hates parties and wouldn't fit in there.

I was once invited to a slumber party but I know how it is from hearing about them.
Plus it was going to be a mix of boys and girls and I just didn't like the sound of it.
I also knew that they just wanted me there to be the laughing stock of the party.

So I didn't go and regret nothing.

i do not know anyone that would invite me to a "party".
the word "party", if repeated many times, sounds foreign and silly to me.
say "party" 30 times distinctly in a row, and you will see how i understand "parties".

if i did know anyone who invited me to a "party", i would decline because i like to make my own fun.
no one in the world can entertain me like i can while on my own, so "parties" are not gone to by me.

so no & no

I've been invited to one of the 'party' type of parties in my life and I just stood in the corner counting down the hours until it was acceptable for me to leave. Not at all a comfortable experience.

I feel you, and I'm so tired of sh***y conversations people force on you during a night out, I can smell their insecurities and teenage confusion.
I go solely because of music, music is life after all.

I occasionally get invited to parties, but I only go when I feel really obligated to. The problem is, as it seems to be with many others on here, which is refreshing, is that I can't stand people my age (other than my friends) and I can't stand drinking. People in college, for the most part, are so shallow and rarely do I ever feel a connection to someone my own age.

When I go to a party, I usually just sit off to the side and don't say a word-- or just chat with a close friend.

I don't know; I just can't relate to my peers like others do.
