Issue 300 of Back Street Heroes magazine...

This is not the last pound I parted with today however.

I am playing Give Away A Dollar A Day at the moment and hid my pound in a book shop...

Wonder who will find it!

You realise if you do that you're loosing $365 every year, that's $3,650 in a decade's time, for absolutely no reason?

Actually I am not...

I am in the UK so I am giving away $1.40764 a day which is over $500 a year.

I don't think of it as losing it, I am deliberately giving it away.

It has changed my attitude towards money.

Since starting to do it I asked someone to give me a very large sum of money comparatively speaking and they said yes.

Actually thinking about it, they gave me enough money to give away a dollar a day for my entire remaining life and have change left over.

I have learned some important things about money I could not have understood without doing GAADAD - perhaps you should read my blog!

Cheers

Mark

Actually to err on the side of responsibility, I just noticed you are 14.

I do not want to appear patronising or to undermine you in anyway, because I think all human beings are equal.

However life experience tells me I should write a disclaimer.

I do GAADAD because I am looking at my own limiting beliefs around money.

Anything I have written in my blog is my personal take on life and while I invite you to look at it, please take on anything I say as "an idea" and question it.

The blog is designed to be read in a way that will reveal your own inner truth.

Last night I bought 74 dollars' worth of groceries.

Before that, it was a trip to the garden center:
25 pounds of enriched soil
and
4 Petite Salmon Oleander shrubs...

Let me think....

~1 liter of milk (plus for free extra unusable information; I don't drink the stuff myself but the painters drank the last which is fine of course. I whip the milk up (in a little pan on a cooker) and put it on my coffee)
~a bottle of Italian white wine
~a little box of prawns, Chinese style, covered in a thin layer of dough. Never had them before, I was just wondering if they where any good. Still in the fridge thou, so....
~mouth water, you know the green or blue liquid that kills bacteria
~a package containing 4 nutmegs

Did you know that Coke Zero and Diet Coke are the exact same thing with different marketing?
