I don't remember. I've been on a RIAA boycott for the last 3 years. I don't care how much I may like a song when I hear it, I will never buy from these racketeers or those that support them.

Last albums bought? Oh, christ, I don't even remember. I can't keep up. Beirut, I believe, 'March of the Zapotec'. I haven't even listened to it yet.

The Decemberists - The Hazards of Love

Awesome album, an hour of rock opera from a band I wouldn't expect to make a rock opera, yet it's still distinctly a Decemberists release.

^^ I believe the last album that I received was Simon and Garfunkel - The Essential Collection. I believe the last album I purchased (for myself) was Classic FM - Movies.

You should do - its great! Especially the first half, with the marching band.

Recent downloads

Cats In Paris - Courtcase 2000, (slightly deranged brit indie band with strings)
Dan Deacon - Bromst, (pitchfork approved beardy chap from baltimore calms down electronic bombardment of his first album with some thumb pianos)
Darren Hayman & The Secondary Modern - Pram Town, (indie pop concept album about Harlow)
Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele - The Good Feeling Music Of... (slightly self conscious baroque pop thing, very cleverly written)
Hjaltalin - Sleepdrunk Seasons, (beautiful orchestral indie pop that reminds me of Au a bit)
Max Tundra - Parallax Error Beheads You, (my new favourite - slightly inept weirdo electro pop)
Micachu - Jewellery, (classically trained musician who'd also done grime mixtapes - very original)
Pelle Carlberg - In A Nutshell, (just classic swedish twee on Labrador records)
Sin Fang Bous - Clangour, (slightly oddball swedish twee)
V/A - Dark Was The Night, (brilliant charity compilation with all your critically acclaimed american indie)

i download all my songs free from either P2P, or torrent sites.
i have all the "one hit wonders" i want care of "emule", and if i like an artist then i search for their discographies from a torrent hosting site.

i like "torrent reactor" the best.

from there (over the past year), i have downloaded the complete discography of frank zappa (he is so prodigious). i got every album with every song he ever made. 8 gigs.

also i downloaded the complete discography of....
billy joel
jethro tull
stevie wonder
elton john
supertramp.

i downloaded for free, every song that those artists ever made.
also, the albums were separated into folders with a small *.jpg to portray the album cover.

that is what i got in the past year but i did not buy it.

When I went to see Gojira, I bought 'The Link' and 'From Mars To Sirius', that was on Thursday, and I've also pre-ordered Mastodons' new album 'Crack The Skye'. It's gonna be loud in my house.
