I thought we were blunter than that. Is it wonderful, or are you sick to death of it? That sounds like NT double-talk!

No, not double-talk. I literally love and loathe the place.

That needs explaining. I don't understand that.

BTW I used to live in London, Highbury to be more precise. This was the first place I lived in when I moved to England. I stayed for two years.

I'm in sunny Wolverhampton which has a claim to fame as having England's first ever automated traffic lights (which i've seen, and even touched!!), and er...... we had the famous but ever so slightly controversial MP Enoch Powell who gave the infamous Rivers of Blood speech a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

Hello fellow brothers and sisters!

I live in London (okay maybe just outside). It is grim, but in a good way.

I live in Hampshire, about 30 miles South West of London and right on the Surrey Hants border. It's kind of dreary.

Hello, I'm from Suffolk. There seems to be quite a lot of people from the UK on here. Welcome. :)

Evidently a lot more than when this thread was created, and I definately noticed a surge a few months back.

I'm in traditional Lancashire, but strictly speaking I'd be under Greater Manchester. It's all a confusing mess to me though so let's just say that I live on this planet, even though it's the Wrong Planet ;).

I was born in Northern Ireland in 1952, and lived in a world of my own until I was 19. Then I went up to Cambridge (to avoid studying mathematics) in 1971, and lived in purgatory for 4 years. Then I moved to London in 1975, and have been living in hell ever since. I'm hoping to relocate to the real world any day now.

I see there's something called the Autism London Aspergers Group (ALAG), but I appear to be only half-Aspie (much like Mr. Spock is only half-Vulcan), so I don't know if it would be appropriate for me to go. However, I've e-mailed them, to ask if it's worth a try.

(I'm terribly socially phobic, so the prospect seems rather daunting. I don't want to be an outsider among outsiders, again!)

At the moment I live in a small village on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border near St. Neots. I am planning to move in September possibly to Huntingdon or it's neighbour Godmanchester so that I can be near to my work and college.
