I took karate classes when I was around ten years old. I was the only student who was a child because the class was at a university my Mom was going to to get her Masters degree.

During one of our stretching exercises we were supposed to pair up with someone, sit on the floor facing each other with our feet touching but our legs stretched out in a "V" shape as far as we could and then grasp each other's wrists. We would take turns pulling each other forward to stretch. I accidentally farted and the college student who was my stretch partner made a big deal about it. I was quite embarrassed and didn't want to participate in the class any longer.

More than one separate instructor. Had the nerve to bark at me "you are not paying attention!". One instructor told me that everyone that took the same number of lessons as me promoted twice

Effort multiplied by efficiency equals outcome

They saw outcome

And assumed effort

And did not take efficiency into account

Many instructors do not care about anything except $$$$

Materialistic, greedy cheapskate

One instructor barked at me for leaving early

It was not even her class

And then a lot of high positive social energy instructors

Doctor Benjamin Spock

Act like they have never done anything wrong before in their lives and "the meaning of life is helping people!"

They have all sorts of power crazy rules

Like you have to call them "sir"

And you have to ask permission for the bathroom (this was at a university club)

Uniforms required, but they do not tell you that, until one month later

And if you do not have a uniform, they kick you out

Even after you paid

One "instructor" had the nerve to tell me "move faster!"

What the flying f**k, b***h?

"Move faster!". :?: :?:

Aikido , "the way of love" :?: :?: :!: :?:

And then the instructor has his own inner circle and treats everyone else like an outsider

f**k those ass holes :!:

Did a month of Krav Maga, the basics are easy to get into: stay balanced on your feet and kick hard. I don't practice much these days, too much going on.

I've done Brazilian Ju-jitsu off and on, I can remember about 3 holds off the top of my head. I have pretty good core strength, and I'm squirmy enough to get out of a hold, but I don't go on the offensive all that well.

I'd really like to try Aikido, but I'm on a bad schedule for any kind of classes.

Thus far, it appears to me that all instructors fall into one or more of the following categories:

 "you are not paying attention. Other customers with the same number of lessons promoted twice"

 "you are doing great".

 assume you are intellectually challenged

 distant

 ignore you unless you do something they do not like

Self important lil ass holes ask "are you ok?" Every five minutes. As if they had the authority or skill to "help" if I was not "ok".

At least two separate idiots had the nerve to pound on the bathroom door. But I had just gotten there. Nobody was waiting for the bathroom. f**k those ass holes. They acted like the building was on fire.

I took my first adult class yesterday. These forms are going to be hard to memorize because of my impairment in memory retention, but if I can just get one down per belt, I think I’ll be all right. Just requires a lot of studying.

After going to over 150 dojos for free trial lessons, it appears, to me, that the only occupation that has more mental illness symptoms than "sensei", is professional counselor

Just like outside the building, precious lil "people" inside the building form cliques

And when a "miscommunication" occurs (sooner or later it will), the precious lil "sensei" is biased in favor of the customer that is similar to the "sensei".

Double standards

Idiots screamed at me "relax your shoulder!"

No :!:

Not everyone has the same number of pain receptors :!:
