"Brian, 21, runs the shop from behind a desk in a back corner and is happy to give his customers the space and time to make their choices, though with his precise knowledge of the stock, he's also able to help them find a particular volume in seconds. Temperamentally, he appears to be ideally suited to the work of a second-hand bookseller - a job which has given him fresh hope":

"It just shows that no matter how many knockbacks Brian has had, he now runs his own business in Scotland's capital":

Maybe "Broughton Street Book Shop" can serve as a meeting place for Scottish Aspies? (and for other aspies who happen to visit Edinburgh?)

i wouldnt think so, there is no 6 for that

frankly its just a 2nd hand book shop which there are many in the city. a rather slow news day and mummy and daddy being suitably sociably placed got this any attention.

It's a compact bookshop, not somewhere that can be used as a meeting place. Which is not what it's for anyway.

I just passed it and found out the opening times yesterday. It's open every day except Monday.
