I need Java 1.6 but on Java site it doesn't give me the possibility to download (I have Mac OS X), it just tells me to check the software update feature but apparently there's nothing new to download. So, how do I get Java 1.6 for my Mac ? Thanks

Sounds like it. Do the 10.5 update first looks like the answer.

Cease to trust Apple, is my advice. That's what I did, although I got to that point back in the '90s
