Nope, I went to see it three times because I enjoyed it so much
I loved it as well! it was a good laugh.
these mother f***ing snakes on this mother f***ing plane! LOL I like the way he says it =P
It's very easy to add the MF word to almost anything Sam L says. I remember the first time I watched Attack of the Clones and he walks up to Count Dooku and puts a lightsaber under his chin and says "This Party's Over [motherf***ker]". He doesn't say the last word but every fibre of his being suggests that it was probably said during rehearsals.
And here's a picture of him going after Jango that I captioned years ago...
It probably won't come out because I have a lot of trouble getting Picasa Images to appear - if not, here's the link.
Years ago when I first heard he was going to be in the prequels, all I wanted was for him to do the wallet scene from Pulp Fiction with his lightsaber.
"Now, hand me my lightsaber. Which one? It's the one that says "Bad Motherf*cker!"

It's something about a witness to a crime who is being flown from Hawaii to California on a commercial flight. He is being escorted by Samuel Jackson. The crime lord or whomever tries to kill the witness be smuggling a crate full of snakes onto the plane, whom are released from the plane mid-flight to kill the witness.
Sam Jackson vs. snakes, basically. On a plane.

It was horrible, utter rubbish. It was a total waste of time watching it.
I think that the film threw away a large number of chances to do good things and just made a dire movie. I would love to know if it got any goldern raspberries.

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

The film didn't win any awards; good or bad.
The Golden Raspberry for best picture 2007 went (more deservedly) to: Basic Instinct 2 with the other nominees being (again more deservedly);
BloodRayne (2005) - Romar Entertainment
Lady in the Water (2006) - Warner Bros.
Little Man (2006/I) - Sony; Revolution
The Wicker Man (2006) - Warner Bros.
If you seriously think that this film is bad, you need to watch some of those to broaden your horizons.
Heck, even Steve Martin's Pink Panther wasn't nominated (for worst picture - though it was a nominee for worst remake) and that's one of the worst kind of stuff that belongs in a toilet.
Budget-wise. Snakes on a plane made its money back, plus an extra 1 million in its first 71 days of release in the US alone. Global receipts and DVD receipts are obviously a lot higher. It's considered a "Hit", not a flop.
If you consider that the following cult classics were flops (financially), you'll be surprised that "snakes" did better; (some pretty amazing things at the bottom of the list).
Fight Club (1999)
Harold and Maude (1971)
Office Space (1999)
Peeping Tom (1960)
Bringing Up Baby (1938)
Donnie Darko (2001)
It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
Blade Runner (1982)
The Wizard of Oz (1939)
Citizen Kane (1941)
The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
The Blues Brothers (1980)
The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)
Duck Soup (1933)
The Big Lebowski (1998)
Night of the Hunter (1955)
Vertigo (1958)
The Shining (1980)
