I like biscotti dunked in coffee, but that's about it.

Nope. I'm hypersensitive to lactose anyway.

And on a related matter, I think it's totally yucky when people at an aperitif bite off their vegetable stick and then dip the bitten-off end in the bowl with dip. How unhygienic! :eew:

No. I soak them. Oreos are even greater when so soggy you have to use a spoon to fish them out of the glass. Milk makes cookies softer and easier to eat. I am accused of scoffing sweets and I suppose soaking them makes it easier to do so.
