I was diagnosed a few months ago and was thinking of going to some group meetings for people with as. Does anyone here go to meetings? How do you find them?

We could help you if we knew where exactly you are. I would suggest doing a search on the web for names in your area.

A bit of a struggle, via the not-too-well-organised NAS site, but this may help:
Home> Scotland> NAS services and support> Social groups> Scotland

I found support groups in my area through a google search. Just type in "Asperger support groups in (insert your city here)"

You can also try this site http://www.meetup.com/ and do a search on AS or autism. You might find groups near you.
