Exactly. Love me, love my Asperger's. If it's what you want, fine, that's your choice, your business but I couldn't do it.

I think that even without Asperger's, I'd still be misanthropic. I just don't like people.

Good Luck.
I will keep my jury vote out. I can't see a one size fits all since all versions are caused by different things.
Otherwise it could cure migraines and Alzheimer's too .

I don't think I would. Full MRI's are already horrific for me and almost always trigger seizures ans migraines. I can't see my tolerance raise for similar procedures.

and at my age I think my Aspie habits would stay after so many years.

But I am not against curing autism symptoms for those that can be cured as long as "they" don't expect it to work on all and start refusing to accept when it does not and call the treatment failures fake.

Crion87, I wish you the very best. Good on you! :D

I am very interested to hear how this goes, and hopeful that if this works it also becomes available as a treatment for ASD in the US.

John Elder Robison wrote a book about his experience with transcranial magnetic stimulation called "Switched On".

He has couple of active Facebook pages.

TMS is not a cure and he says that frequently.

It doesn't bother me that someone would change their mental state.

It does bother me that they can't describe this condition, which they're trying to treat.
