I have, and even though it may sound funny it actually made me really sad since obviosly if they are fictional you have no hope of ever actually being with them :cry:

On a similar vein, what about the people that have crushes on celebrities that they've never met in person? That must be really creepy for the celebrities in question...

I'm inclined to believe that most people only fall in love with "fictional characters" anyway, not the real people they think they're in love with...

In my preteen years I was absolutely infatuated with several of the Harry Potter characters. I created my own fantasy world, and would daydream about it constantly.

Yes, I have felt in love with fictional characters.
