Where do you look to find out if your version is 32 bits or higher?

It's about 5.73 Mb/s. I guess It will take a couple of hours to download a file 3.8 gigabytes in size. Maybe 2-2.5 hours.

Is your machine dual core? newer than 3 years? Chances are it can handle 64 bit.

You know, i thought google would resolve this easily, but I am starting to see the moronic responses by windows 'experts'. They only explain how to tell if your current system is 32 or 64 bit. The software.

People need to know what their hardware will support.

I can test it very easily in linux. Why is it so hard in windows(xp)?

Download everest home edition http://majorgeeks.com/download4181.html

It MIGHT tell you. There are two pices of information you need. The bit depth of the CPU and the bit depth of your motherboard.

Ouch. If you download that file prepare to leave your computer on all day and all night. Dial-up is painstakingly slow.

Dial up is like reading a book one letter at a time, lol. Can't you get high speed? I used to have dial up. It was a real pain.

That crossed my mind, that you hadn't any control over it.

Sorry if I sounded rude.
