Can someone help me remember a movie from my childhood?

It was a movie I watched over and over again. If I recall it had a seal and was set in the arctic area (real icy/snowy) and was an animated movie. :-)

Was it "The White Seal"? It's a Chuck Jones adaptation of a Rudyard Kipling story.
