This question is actually a bit of a conundrum for most people in the UK because we have 4 'countries' which in turn are united to make up a larger one !
On the one hand I could say Scotland because we have our own parliament,education,
legal systems and separate sporting teams. On the other hand I'm also happy to say I'm from the UK and British.

I'm from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I lived there for my first 38 years of life then moved to Columbus, Ohio, USA to live with my wife as of Sept 30, 2008.

This is the first time I've lived anywhere but Calgary so it's a bit different, but not like moving to a country with a vastly different culture.

Unfortunately... (as being the citizen) and fortunately... (for the natural resources)
I got thrown to this silly world and landed on a tropical island called Java in Indonesia (but I also have a sand dweller and oriental blood within me, I wish I had aryan and afro blood too..) :lol:
I lived in Australia once for 2,5 years (1988-1990)... (got dragged by my freakin' deceased oldman who earned his master degree in Melbourne, I wished I stayed there and lived with a foster parent and never came back to Indonesia... *sighs*) ///-
