Thank you I am cool! Not to big note myself almost everything (interests) that's wasn't considered cool in my primary school days now has sudenly become "cool" and mainstrem such as video games and electronic (dance) music. Often tormented at school for my "weird" interests. Hell I don't even consider being in to DSMV "wierd"

Most of the guys I didn't respond to on Aspie Affection because they were either too far or too intense. Also some guy with a nickname of something like "always_stoned" I obviously wasn't going to respond to.

So why would you reject "too intense" type? I am too intense (most of my posts are pages long) but that is the way my brain naturally wired that I overanalyze things. If anything, I am NOT into porn, I do NOT talk dirty I do NOT make nasty jokes; all I do is overanalyze. In fact, as inteanse as I am, once I turned someone off that way my mind gets so INTENSE on the idea thta if only I was given a chance by that particular person I would NEVER be intense with them; yet no one gives a chance. How come you listed an "intense" person as a turn off in a list that was too short to include any of the sex obsessed gamers? How come being long winded is so much worse than that?

Looked at it once. There are so few women on it in my age range there isn't any point in joining.

Um sorry current meds I'm on is making me quite batty causing me to write inane, pointless and quite insane "contributions" to this site. Oh well most people on this planet are this way so I guess it's OK.

Went on it occasionally a couple of years ago. I'll admit ignoring members of the opposite sex, but I have an excuse. :P

It seemed like a useful site for people trying to meet people for whatever reasons. The only issue I had with it was that it told when I viewed someones profile. Seemed like a bit of a privacy concern and I stopped using it when I discovered there was no option to view peoples profiles anonymously.

Another issue I had was that family/friends could view my profile and that pictures were displayed publicly not to members only. Not being out to certain family and friends either affectionately or as an aspie this was difficult. If someone googled me they'd find me through google search. Not exactly discreet.

I'd be willing to try it again but am weary for the reasons mentioned above. I'll also admit to being paranoid that the place is trolled by non-aspies looking to take advantage, but I'm sure that is paranoid more than truthful.

NOTE: a woman knows if she likes you from the first 30 seconds she sees you, all you can do is f**k it up.

Very true, for the most part. I would say more like first half an hour to hour though. Then you know whether the potential for attraction is there or not.

I agree, I know pretty much right away if the girl is for me on an emotional/ intellectual level. Which is all I look at if not mildly at appearance. And they will generally change into a totally different person than what they seem to 'advertise' in the beginning and turn me off faster than mayonaisse or cottage cheese does :"). I could care less if I mess things up with them because in my mind they became just like all the rest as soon as they decidied to be phony, dishonest, hurtful, mean, or uncaring. And then tried to sugarcoat all of that with the fallacy that since I'm male as long as they look good I will accept all those other flaws. Think again.

If two people connect very well, distance shouldn't be an issue. If you meet someone in person and the two of you hit it off, you can always move there, or the other person can move to where you are.

It's hard to connect with someone that far away. And you shouldn't move just to see if you can connect with someone.
