Do NTs have logic?

This is a very blunt and direct question Do they?

I found that many NT's have more logic than me and they also criticize me for my lack of logic.

Logic is a skill of thought. Not an inate trait.

so yes. NT's do have logic. And many AS' lack the slightest amount of it.


Fact based thinking does NOT = logical.

NTs do have logic. But it depends on what kind of logic you're talking about.

The only NT I've met who has Aspie logic was Windows NT.

It seems that NT's prefer emotion over logic, or incorporate emotion into their logic, not understanding why logic must be free of emotion.

Then again, it's also the background and upbringing of the individual that must be taken into account also. Many people use emotion to further their arguement, and if your response discounts that emotion, then the personal attacks erupt. Often this is how emotives win their arguements.

For many, logic is subjective.

I don't like to think in terms of NTs having no logic and me living up to this unrealistically high standard of computer programmer type logic which doesn't make much sense to me anyway. Sometimes logic seems surprisingly illogical which is why I had so much trouble in trigonometry. It didn't seem logical to me. I was better at geometry.
I like detecting fallacies. For some reason being able to find a fallacy is second nature.

I found that most of the time their logic doesn't adhere to the strict mathematical definition of logic. Wrost still, they often attach unspoken exceptional clause to their speakings and assumed that everyone must know. Unfortunately, they are the majority and they seem to be content with this twisted definition of logic.

While they are both useful in their own right, logic and emotion are the key ingredients to innovation and advancement of any sort. Logic is the basis of rationality, and emotion is the basis for creativity. Being overly logical doesn't mean you're better than the emotional types. Being overly emotional doesn't mean that you're better than the rational types. It isn't good to be overly anything. So using your rational and emotional faculties wisely and appropriately will yield the best results.

Of course they do..... I'm just kidding. It would solve a lot of problems if we could just say that they didn't, however!!
