I got a 21. I guess I'm more aspie than I thought: Your score: 21 A typical score is in the range 22-30. If you scored over 30, you are very accurate at decoding a person's facial expressions around their eyes. A score under 22 indicates you find this quite difficult. The correct answers for the one... |

They're geared towards young offenders and young adults with serious conduct disorders. They NEED to learn independance skills to keep them off the streets/out of jail, but they are too belligerent using the conventional methods. It is not a juvenile detention hall or a boot camp. It has nothing to... |

That's the exact program, Ravenclawgurl. Have you ever been to it before? If so, how is it like? It seems like fun yet at the same time I will learn a lot. We're so lucky if we get to go. |

I already do my own laundry and I cooked dinner yesterday. I mean stuff such as getting a real job (I work online for very little) and managing my money. I also need to learn social skills. If I could have fixed my own social skills, I wouldn't have been diagnosed with this to begin with. There must... |

I have a lot of problems with social skills and my psychiatrist diagnosed me with Asperger's Syndrome. However, I never got around to explaining this to my parents. They just know I have OCD and social anxiety. I was diagnosed with autism at around two years old and they know this, but they act as i... |

I listen to pop music too. It's a stereotype that those with AS have exemplary tastes at all times. The stereotypical aspie is obsessed with anime and most anime is crap. Pokemon has artistic merit? Is anyone going to seriously argue this? For crying out loud, the guy who invented Pokemon , Satoshi ... |

Read the label on the pill. Go to my psychiatrist and ask for his opinion. If side effects aren't too bad, I'll just take it. Duh. ...and kittenmeow, your opinion is precisely the reason why people think AS is full of s**t and just a reason to make people feel superior about themselves for no reason... |

I've been enlightened.
This is only my past; I shall move on. Disregard everything I said before as it was only brash discourse. It was interesting while it lasted. Anyone up for popsicles? |

I think the better question should be, how many NTs would take a cure to turn them into Aspies if we paid them $1 million? Zero. As they would not want something that hinders their social abilities and denies them opportunities via socializing. They'll feel all awkward and weird for the rest of the... |

I guess that's your choice. You made the rules of the engagement so withdraw if you have to or proceed as may be needed. As long as I see a loophole or an attack, I'll be tempted to respond. Some people even like reading this debate. I still don't know what you mean by it is a good idea if everyone... |

Would I suggest that it not safe to ask for a cure for something that is hard to be cure? Are you that desperate? Aren't you the pessimistic one. Autism is not the only issue that is hard to cure, yet it is the only one that the sufferer's are throwing in the towel with and dressing it up as we're ... |
