One of my ancestors was the Welsh bard Llew Tegid, who donated a chair to one of the chairing ceremonies of a major Eisteddfod (probably the National Eisteddfod of Wales), and was one of the Eisteddfod conductors. :)

I know this isn't exactly on topic, but KingdomOfRats, do you mean that your phone originally could work without the socket, and later couldn't? If so, it may be that the battery needs replacing. You should be able to get it checked out and get a replacement battery from any nearby phone store. :)

Yes, the edit button is so useful! I'm quite fussy about spelling and grammar, and if I notice I've made a mistake I find it upsetting. In speaking, though, you can't take things back as easily. I'll usually finish the sentence and correct myself straight away, but it still makes my brain hurt. I d...

I'm happy being Aspie. :) I admit there are sometimes disadvantages to it, but I couldn't imagine myself being any other way, and I find that things like paying greater attention to detail have helped me so much with what I do (especially with drawing). Plus, the obsessions are always fun to have! :P

I think pets are very good for people with AS and autism. :) I have two dogs and two budgies, and I couldn't imagine being without them. Losing my cats affected me quite deeply, and I know I'd feel the same if I lost any of my other pets, since I adore them all!

The Starlight Express production in Bochum, Germany is the most watched musical in the world. The Really Useful Group was given that name because of Starlight Express. Andrew Lloyd Webber originally wanted the show to be about the stories by Rev. W. V. Awdry, and to show his enthusiasm named his new...

Woah, that picture feels weird to look at... 8O

And my budgies' new cage arrived today! ^-^ They really seem to love it (it's a lot bigger than their last one so they have much more space), and it's so much fun watching them play with their new toys! :D

The most obscure one I've seen is probably "Rock & Rule". Before it was released on DVD, the only way to get hold of it was to order a video directly from the studio (since it was so rarely bought, they'd make them individually for each order), and when it first came out it was only shown in a h...

I've been thinking of buying the latest iPod Classic, but I'm not quite sure about it yet. Does anyone here have one already, and if so, how good is the screen for watching movies? Is it big and clear enough to be able to watch videos properly?

I would love to see The Dark Side of the Moon with The Wizard of Oz synchronized together!! !! !! Ooh, I'd love to do that! ^-^ I tried once, but I only have a PAL DVD of The Wizard of Oz, so it didn't work for me. :( As for cult films, I'd love to see Shock Treatment, Donnie Darko, Jan Svankmajer'...
