I've heard plenty of people talk about "starting a revolution" without really understanding the full scope of things. But that got me wondering, under what conditions could a full blown revolution break out in the United States. [quote=Declaration of Independence] We hold these truths to be self-evi...

It's getting a lot worse though I keep hearing - same as the UK - bye bye liberty, hello big brother and false security. America is in less danger of being pwned by the incompetent as long as people retain their right to bear arms imho "the people shouldn't live in fear of the government, the gover...

I think Hell is only a place for people so consumed by greed and hatred that they will not admit they have done wrong, even when directly presented with the facts and the full knowledge of the consequences. I won't claim to have come up with this myself but I have adapted this idea into my personal ...

We didn't even coin that phrase - it was a detracting phrase constructed by one of the media moguls, as it goes - funny how it subtlely demonises the idea of 'conspiracy' in and of itself, don't you think? like JFK and Watergate never happened LOL they were conspiracies after all, weren't they? Wat...

Satanism is simply the inverse of Christianity, and it intentionally believes in things simply because they are considered a sin in Christianity, even though these things lead to no good end. I consider myself an independent Christian. This gives me the perspective to see the flaws in organized Chri...

Even if they video was faked, they still would have to account for the tens of thousands of people who saw it first hand. That's not something you can feasibly cover up. I personally put the "no planes" conspiracy theorists, in the same boat as the "Jews did it" conspiracy theorist. Even a cursory g...

It is very hard to make prediction: A kind of World Government exists - not in form of any behind the scenes dark forces, but by the coordination of governments worldwide, which just must realize that even powerful nations, like the USA, are not able to manage global problems alone. The question is...

According to Islamic holy scriptures.....Conversion from Islam to another faith is punishable by death. Torture prior to death is allowed. A very painful death is not forbidden. Sometimes it is considered to be an obligatory sacred duty. Sharia Law. Fortunately not all followers of Islam are irrati...

The end all is simply that America is too diverse to form any sort of generalizations. There are people who believe and do the stupidest things, yet there are also plenty of people who are perfectly intelligent individuals. The culture varies so much from place to place that I honestly believe that ...

I wouldn't be worried about the UN. It's resolutions are rather unenforceable, especially when the resolution itself has a questionable interpretation. The UN does very little to stop blatant genocide, violating one interpretation of a minor UN resolution (in this case a nonbinding one) will hardly ...

Do we need an imaginary playmate who loves us unconditionally? Along with God comes a denial of death. This is very unhealthy. ruveyn Complete fear of death is a rather problematic thing as well. Since we sometimes need people to take highly dangerous risks in order for society to advance. As for m...

I personally think that after a politician's term is up, they receive an "exit vote" and the result would determine what happens next. If they receive at least 2/3 of the vote they receive their full pension and any other retirement benefits. If they receive a simple majority of the votes, they rece...

Well I'm not going to deny that Aspies have it worse off sexually then gay/lesbian individuals. However you have to take the nature of things into account. Asperger's Syndrome is a social deficit. While other factors can cause the syndrome to balance itself out into a neurological variation, part of...

I have nothing against immigrants. However I do think the country needs to streamline the immigration system to make entering the country illegally undesirable for anyone other than a hardened criminal. So that way honest immigrants will be on the books and the borders can then be fully secured agai...

It's not surprising that Drug companies will try to bury unfavorable studies. It's one thing if they bury the drug along with the study, it's another thing if they release the drug anyways. In the end a business is a business and sometimes the executives will do some morally grey (or flat out wrong)...

We do make our own PSAs. However since we lack the funding of groups like Autism Speaks, we don't have nearly as much airtime.
